Lewis Lewis is the largest of all the Islands which make up the beautiful Western Isles of Scotland and has many places of Historical interest, such as the Callanish Stones (World famous circles and avenues of standing stones which rank second only to Stonehenge in historical importance), St. Columbas Church (ruins of very early church and ancient graveyard of the MacLeod’s of Lewis), and many, many more to numerous to list.
